Ruby on Rails

Last weekend I went down to the space and played around with Ruby on Rails. I hated it. After two hours I gave up. I gave it another shot today, and after two hours I decided that I probably could get this application working the way I wanted to, but I wasn’t interested in dedicating the rest of my life to it. Supposedly Ruby on Rails is SO easy and SO fast to develop applications in. I found it just the opposite. I mean, I read the documentation and followed the tutorials and it still took me three hours to get it to “scaffold” my links. Now I understand that when you’re learning something new it takes a while to get used to it. But Ruby on Rails is such a drag it’s not worth learning.
