Occasionally I come across things that make me think super cool, I want one. But I am “making sacrifices.” I am trying to not buy every shiny thing I see. The reasons for this are many, and would probably make a good post. Here’s a list of things I am not buying

• Cycling cap from BikeCommuters.com. Or from Gary Rothera. Or from Octopus Caps.
• Clear Flex pack from Timbuk2. Even though it appears to be on sale.
• Yet another badass tactical backpack. I actually thought the GORUCK GR1 looked better anyway, and it’s made- built in the USA. But I’m not getting that either.
• Yet another cool tee. The owning of which may be ironic.
• Yet another insulated stainless steel water bottle. The purchase of which may help a good cause.
